We love that the place is just a 10-minute walk to the Parroquia de San Miguel and more quiet than the city center. It also has a swimming pool. Room is ok for the price (seems like most hotels are expensive in this city). Parking is not free. Overall, I would recommend the place.

Good location near the center. The reception and check-out service was good. I only had breakfast at the restaurant one day and it was delicious. The bar service and drinks were good. The facilities need a major overhaul, and colleagues told me their room smelled bad and of cigarettes.

Breakfast is great and you can use the private parking for an additional fee.
I applied for a room upgrade, but it is a pity that the towels, water, and bed blankets were set for 2 people even though I made a reservation for 4 people.

Room had no bedroom slippers, coffee tea making services - none of the usual or basic amenities provided by hotels. The worst was the shower area. Water leaks out to outside area till the carpeted floor. The bathroom area was run down. No hot water at the water basin. No stopper found for Water basin/sink . The bathroom had a window pane opening out and not supported by a ventilator . Cold at night .

We were so excited to visit San Miguel Allende, and yes it is stunning however, our hotel experience was horrible. The bathroom shower was covered with mildew, shower doors covered with white spots. I was so discussed that I decided not to shower. The other thing was when trying to order food, no answer from the front desk or the restaurant the phone just rang and rang. No answer, so I went down to the front desk and inquired about me calling but no answer and that I just wanted to order some food.. the lady said .. oh yes I saw you called but I was busy. 😒 I just couldn’t believe what I heard. So I turned around went to the restaurant and ordered food. I immediately booked another hotel, much more affordable and with great reviews. Can’t wait to leave! Save your money and do not spend it here. Horrible!
